Rajan
Sankaran
 Dr.
Rajan Sankaran is regarded as one of the greatest living homeopaths of our time,
and is recognized throughout the world as one of the most important influences
on current homeopathic thought and practice. Rajan’s work during the past
three decades has had a profound impact on the understanding of disease and
homeopathic treatment. He has
taught and mentored numerous homeopaths throughout the globe.
His wisdom,
his devotion to homeopathy, his tireless inquiry into truth, his humility and
great sense of humor make him not only a brilliant and charismatic teacher but
also a living and inspirational master of homeopathy, past and present.
Inspired and
nurtured by his father, Dr. P. Sankaran, Rajan graduated Gold Medallist from the
Bombay Homeopathic Medical College in 1981. Throughout his years of practice
Rajan has worked to unearth a system for homeopathy that gives consistent
results. He has given us the classification of remedy states into kingdoms and
has added seven miasms to the already known ones.
His concept
of disease as a Delusion changed the process of case taking from mere data
collection to understanding the patient beyond the physical level.
In 1999 Rajan began work on classification of the Plant Kingdom remedies,
and he also introduced the concept of Vital Sensation.
Rajan’s
latest, and perhaps most significant contribution, ‘the seven levels of
experience,’ has provided a definitive pathway for case taking, a means by
which to interpret the active energy patterns of the patient, plus a way of
matching the patient’s level to the remedy potency that is required.
According to
the dictionary, the word genius has three main attributes or aspects.
The base word, genere, means to produce.
Secondly, a genius is a guardian spirit of a person, place or a set of
principles. Its third aspect addresses the need for great mental capacity and
inventive ability. Many students
and colleagues, within the field of homeopathy, have long considered Rajan to be
just that, genius. There can be
little doubt that, when measured against the deeper meaning and criteria of the
word, Rajan more than qualifies as a living genius.
Thus far,
Rajan has authored six books and his latest work An Insight into Plants, is
truly a masterpiece of Homeopathy. Presently he is working on several more books
and a software program entitled, Vital Quest. This video course will be an extension of his work and a
